Graveside services for Lottie Marie Davis, 88, Henderson, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 26, at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Henderson, with Robert Hall officiating, under direction of Crawford-Crim-Bryan Funeral Home, Henderson.
Mrs. Davis died June 23, 2008, in Tyler.
She was born May 8, 1920 in Henderson to Dr. A.J. and Bonnie Welch Deason. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Henderson for many years. She was a graduate of Henderson High School. She married Elton E. “Slick” Davis in 1947. She was involved in the Varied Arts Club Association and the Henderson Women’s Forum.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Graham Deason.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Elton E. “Slick” Davis, Henderson; sons and daughter-in-law, Elton Ray and Cynthia Davis, Canton, and Graham Deason Davis, Rockwall; and grandchildren, Amanda, Kristin, Daniel, Coy and Bonnie Davis.
Pallbearers included Don Deason, Glen Deason, Coy Davis, Ken Hale, Graham Davis and Ray Davis.
AM3 Daniel Ray Davis, USN, served as honorary pallbearer.
