Graveside services for Eva Naomi Hancock, 94, Dayton, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at Edom Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Meadow officiating, under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Mrs. Hancock died July 1, 2008, in Houston.
She was born September 11, 1913 in Edom to Jimmie Swindell and Edward Davidson. Previously of Edom, she was a resident of Dayton for 20 years. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack W. Hancock; brothers, Ross Davidson, Hubert Davidson and Grady Davidson; and sisters, Alcie Mae White, Annie Pearl Dike and Irene Farley.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Neil and Marlene Hancock, Dayton, and John and Carolyn Hancock, Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Hiram and Virginia Davidson, Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
