Services for Kathy Jo DuBose, 59, Enid, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Rev. Bryan Easley officiating.
Burial was in High Cemetery, Canton.
Mrs. DuBose died July 2, 2008, in Enid.
She was born March 2, 1949 in Seminole, Okla., to William Wesley Jr. and Sarah Jacqueline Oakley Henson. She was of Baptist faith. She was a longtime resident of Oklahoma. She married William Edgar “Buddy” DuBose in 1968. She worked in bindery for several years.
She was preceded n death by her father; son, Gerald Thomas DuBose; and sister, Karen Jean Henson.
Survivors include her husband, William Edgar “Buddy” DuBose, Enid; son, William Lafayette Abernathy, Bonney Lake, Wash.; mother, Sarah Jacqueline Henson, Highland Ranch, Colo.; brother, Darrell Wesley Henson, Highland Ranch; brother-in-law, Jimmy DuBose, Myrtle Springs; sisters-in-law, Debbie Hoover, Wills Point, Mary Hemby, Fruitvale, and Jessie Courtney, Streetman; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers included David DuBose, Donnie Powell, Steve LaFrance, Michael LaFrance, Justin LaFrance and Paul DuBose.
