Services for Robert Glenn Goodson, 62, Edgewood, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, Sulphur Springs, with Rev. Tommy Hall officiating.
Mr. Goodson died July 5, 2008, in Tyler.
He was born January 4, 1946 in Hopkins County to Ernest and Jessie Goodson. He married Jimmie Knox in 1965. He worked as a shop foreman for Ford-New Holland until about two years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jay Goodson.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Goodson; sons, Mike Goodson, Sulphur Springs, and James Robert; brother and sister-in-law, William Gerald and Shirley Goodson, Hopkins County; sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy and John Hillis, Hopkins County, and Martha Rutledge, Yantis; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
