Graveside services for Rosie Lee Wynn Eppinett, 79, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Donny Chamblen officiating, under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Mrs. Eppinett died September 28, 2008.
She was born August 19, 1929 in Richland Parrish, La. She was a resident of Canton since 1975, moving from Louisiana. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac H. and Martha Curry; stepsister, Lula Tharpe; and stepbrothers, Frank Curry and Vernie Curry.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Eppinett, Mineola; sons and daughters-in-law, Aubrey Eppinett, Edward and Teresa Eppinett, and Rayburn and Pam Eppinett, all of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Buddy Wilson, Mineola; grandchild, Joel Eppinett Jr.; two stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Donald Baker, Kenny Reid, Kenneth Ottwell, Don Summons, J.R. Summons and Randy Ottwell.
