Services for Nicholas "Nic" Cameron Lay, 10, Wills Point, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Tim Mabe officiating
Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.
Master Lay died September 29, 2008 at his residence.
He was born March 19, 1998 in Mesquite.
He was preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Brown; grandparents, Gwendolyn Lay, Billie Davis-Gunn and Muriel Wallace; great-grandparents, Reba Jordan, Leroy Wallace and Don Davis; aunt, Shirley Pritchett; and uncle, Timothy Mark Brown.
Survivors include his mother, Angel Lay-Brown, and her husband David Brown, Wills Point; father, Stacy Lay, and wife Cyndy, Terrell; sisters, Samantha Lay, Wills Point, Gwendolyn Lay, Terrell, and Jaedynn Brown, Grand Saline,; brothers, Dillon Lay, Garland, and Jacob, Jared and Justin Brown, all of Grand Saline; grandparents, Bobby and Sydnie Wallace, Wills Point, J.B. Lay, Royse City, and Sharon and Charlie Ray, Dallas; aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Honorary pallbearers included Pam Borowsky, Shanna Smith-Brugueras, Marium Janicke, Cheryl Grimmett, Jared Brown and Justin Brown.
