Oma McFadin

Services for Oma Nadine Littrell McFadin, 81, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 4, at Willow Springs Baptist Church with L.A. "Pokey" Goodson officiating.

Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton, under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Mrs. McFadin died October 1, 2008, in Forney.

She was born October 15, 1926 in Willow Springs to Roy Burnett and Martha Leona Reynolds Barber. She was a member of Willow Springs Baptist Church. She grew up in Willow Springs Community and attended school in Edgewood. She graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce. She was a teacher for more than 40 years, teaching in Edgewood, Canton and Irving until retiring in 1997.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Deryl Conrad Littrell and Edward McFadin; and brother, Lloyd Barber.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Becky Littrell, Forney, and Wayne and Paulette Littrell, Canton; sister-in-law, Daris Morgan, Edgewood; grandchildren, Debra Kines, Martha Marshall, Alicia Creighton, Charlotte Wycough, Jaymi Kapka, Casey Allen, Scott Littrell and Jeffrey Littrell; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included Kenneth Kines, Mike Marshall, Casey Allen, James Wycough, Shane Kapka and Jeffrey Littrell.
