Hawk Byrum

Services for Charles "Hawk" Byrum, 52, Grand Saline, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 11, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Carl McCann officiating.

Burial will be in Green Family Cemetery, Smith County.

Mr. Byrum died October 3, 2008, in Tyler.

He was born August 15, 1956 in Tyler to James Jr. and Noamie Stiles Byrum. He was a member of Fruitvale Church of Christ. He was a member of the Brotherhood of the 74 Motorcycle Club.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Candy Jo Byrum, Grand Saline; son, Derrick Byrum, Andrews; daughter, Emily Byrum, Midland; father, James Byrum Jr., and wife Helen, Tyler; mother, Noamie Byrum, Tyler; brother and sister-in-law, Jon and Lori Byrum, Zionsville, Ind.; sister and brother-in-law, Terah and Roy Rutledge, Winona; granddaughter, Avery Jewel Byrum; and other relatives.

Brotherhood of the 74 Motorcycle Club will serve as pallbearers.

Family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at the funeral home.
