Graveside services for Mr. Curtis Shivers, 80, of Grand Saline, were held at 2 p.m., June 30 at Woodside Cemetery with Dr. Mark Neeley officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mr. Shivers passed away June 28, 2009 in Grand Saline.
He was born March 2, 1929 in Grand Saline to Weaver P. and Mary Leona Riggins Shivers. Mr. Shivers retired from the National Cash Register after 37 years and served in the U.S. Marines in Korea.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Larry Shivers and Robert Ray Shivers.
Survivors include two nieces, and numerous cousins and friends.
