Services for Harold Allred, 86, Grand Prairie, were held at 2 p.m. on October 17, 2009 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Prairie, with Rev. Doug Simon officiating.
Interment was on Monday October 19 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.
Mr. Allred passed away Tuesday October 13, 2009 in Arlington. He was born on November 21, 1922 in Wills Point, the son of Mell and Beulah Bishop Allred. He was married to Maxine Crawford Allred also from Wills Point.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Allred was a retired machinist from Vought Aerospace in Grand Prairie.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Maxine Crawford Allred; daughters Linda Simon and husband Ron, Grand Prairie; daughter Amy Gilbert and husband Randy, Grand Prairie; grandchildren Daniel Simon, Brad Gilbert, Lesli Archibald, and Craig Gilbert; great-grandchildren Morgan Simon, Lily, Gracie and Olivia Gilbert, and Luke and Logan Archibald, and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Daniel Simon, Brad Gilbert, Craig Gilbert, Brent Archibald, Jackie Crawford, Carrell Crawford and A.M. Crawford.
