Mr. Swain passed away October 20, 2009 in Forney.
He was born September 28, 1930 in Fruitvale to Jack and Lola Swindall Swain. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Forney for 49 years. He was married 57 years to his wife, Peggy. J.C. retired from Texas Instruments after working 30 years and teaching 2 years there at T.I.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Swain, Forney; daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and Marty Rouvaldt, Forney, Rebecca and Phil Smith, Lindale; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Robert Swain, Grand Saline; sisters, Maxine Lacy, Quitman, Faye Carroll, Fruitvale and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Frank Brook’s Bible Class.
