Memorial services for Oma "Jackie" Lawless, 102, Wills Point were held at 2 p.m., October 30, at Hilliard Funeral Home with Rev. Shelby Davidson officiating.
Mrs. Lawless passed away on October 23, 2009 in Grand Saline.
She was born January 12, 1907 in Van Zandt County to the late Elbert Calvin Venable and Rose Lea Heirs. She was a resident of Wills Point, formerly living in Woodland Hills, California. She was a member of Elwood Baptist Church, loved farming and worked in daycare.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lawless and granddaughter, Peggy Sprague.
Survivors include her sons, James E. Sprague, Charleston, North Carolina, Jerry Turner Lawless, Simi Valley, California and Wesley Venable Lawless, Wills Point; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
