Services for Willeta Joyce "Tootsie" Brandon, 76, Van were held at 2 p.m., October 24, at Hilliard Funeral Home Chapel, Van, with Bro. Mark Winskie officiating.
Burial was in Colfax Cemetery.
Mrs. Brandon passed away October 22, 2009 at her home.
Willeta Joyce "Tootsie" Gregory Brandon was born March 22, 1933. She had been a resident of the Van area for 30 years, formerly living in Irving and Leonard. She worked as a foreman for Schoekauf Industries and also ran Doc’s Truck Stop for many years. She was a member of Richland Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Don Brandon, Van; sister, Mary Lovell, Garland; brother, Alvin Gregory and wife Gene, Irving; step-children, Don Brandon and wife Lynda, Bill Brandon and wife Trudy, Julie Sharlow and husband Roger and Ronnie Callahan; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were J.R. "Butch" McCallum, Neal Gregory, Don Medlin, David Lovell, Jack Lovell and Paul Lovell.
