Services for Jonathan Cole Shipman, 30, Ben Wheeler were held at 2 p.m., October 28 at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton with Rev. Dan Tarno officiating.
Burial was in New Harmoney Cemetery, Van Zandt County.
Mr. Shipman passed away October 25, 2009 in Tyler.
He was born June 11, 1979 in Garland to Riley Donald Shipman and Patricia Ann Orth. He loved hunting and fishing and going to mudbogs with his son. He loved being a father and helping people.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doc Riley and Gertrude Shipman and Rucky and Cleo Hunter.
Survivors include his son, Landyn Trent Shipman, Ben Wheeler; father and wife, Don and Judy Shipman, Eufaula, Oklahoma; mother and husband, Pat and Rodney Moore, Ben Wheeler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tracie and Alex Mosley, Ben Wheeler, Jennifer and Jesse Rodriguez, Dallas; three aunts; grandmother, Kate Moore, Ben Wheeler and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers were Jesse Rodriguez, Alex Mosley, Allen Spurlock, Paul Gibson and Anthony Hale.
