Services for John Robert Ragsdale, 59, Canton were held at 10 a.m., November 9 at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton with Bro. Jim Leach and Rev. Bart Reddock officiating.
Burial was in High Cemetery, Canton.
Mr. Ragsdale passed away Friday, November 6, 2009, in Tyler.
He was born September 22, 1950 in Dallas, to Peter Madison and Vedith Harris Ragsdale. He was a member of the Wallace United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Madison Ragsdale and his brother, Sherrill Ragsdale.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Rita Joy Ragsdale, Canton; daughters, Jill and Jim Ford, and Candice Ragsdale all of Canton; grandchildren, Cade and Jim; mother, Vedith Ragsdale, Canton and brother, Sam Ragsdale, Mesquite.
Pallbearers were Danny Westmoreland, Larry Brock, Justin Martin, Sammy Ragsdale, Ben Ragsdale, Sam Ragsdale.
