Lunch Prices Set To Increase

Randal Brewer, Sports Editor

The Wills Point ISD would like to remind families with students that school lunch prices will increase for the 2008-2009 school year.

"It has become increasingly difficult across the state for food services to operate in the black," superintendent Joe Oliver said.

"Will Point ISD has not had an increase in prices in more than four years, and as everybody is aware, the price of food and the fuel to deliver the food have increased significantly in four year."

"It is not our intent, nor will we, profit on our food programs," Oliver continued. "Our only intent is to try and break even."

Prices will be as follows:

Primary – Breakfast, $1.25; Lunch, & 2.00

Breakfast will cost $1.25, and lunch will be $2.00 at the Primary, Intermediate, Middle and Junior High School. The High School will be $1.50 for breakfast and $2.25 for lunch.

Prices for teachers will be $2.25 for breakfast and $3.25 for lunch, while visitors will be charged $2.50 and $3.50. Milk is .75 for everyone.

Assistance is available from the state through the free and reduced lunch program. From are available through the school district.
