John T. Johnson sells a variety of semi custom hunting and skinning knives, as well as, a large selection of knives from around the world.

"I have knives from Norway, Spain, and China. I also have pocket knives by Rough Rider and Frost," said Johnson.

Johnson said his hunting and skinning blades are made by different manufacturers and after having the blades cryo treated, he does the finish work on the grips. He also shapes and finishes the sheaths.

"By making the knives this way, I can offer more value at a lesser price," said Johnson.

Johnson said that ten percent of his product line is semi custom. He said that the rest of the knife inventory is constantly changing.

"I still have consistent good sellers each month. I love to offer as much value for the dollar that I can and always will," said Johnson.

Johnson said that the best thing about First Monday is being able to meet new people.

"I love being able to meet new people and help them with their knife selection. What a great place to get away for the weekend," said Johnson.

Johnson will be celebrating his second anniversary as a vendor at First Monday this month and is having a sale to mark the occasion.

"I invite everyone to come by and take advantage of the fifteen percent off sale on all knives, swords and accessories. They can also register to win a beautiful hunting knife to be given away Sunday, September 30 at 3:00 p.m.," said Johnson.

Johnson said that you need not be present to win.
