Wild’s Creek Candle Company and Laser Design offer a variety of candles and carved, engraved tiles

Wild’s Creek Candle Company and Laser Design, located in Lewis Pavilion 4500-Booths 4536 and 4537, on the First Monday Trades Days grounds offers a wide variety of candles, soaps, as well as, a variety of sand carved tiles and engraved photo tiles.

The owners of the business, Michele and Stoney Stone, started the business after they decided that they wanted to make a candle that you could smell from the first time you burned it until the wax was all gone.

The main business is located in Gladewater, TX and after many hours of making and burning, the Stones were able to come up with a blend of high quality wax and just the right amount of fragrance.

It wasn’t long before the Stones friends and family couldn’t get enough of their products so they began taking them to craft shows and the candles were a big hit.

Then they came to First Monday, set up shop and are doing very well.

"We have been coming for six years and for the first time we missed last month. We had customers ringing our cell phones wanting to know where we were. That was a great feeling," said Michele Stone.

Wild’s Creek Candle Company is still a growing business and the Stones say it is a lot of work to keep up but that they love the people they come in contact with and will continue to make candles every chance that they get.

With almost 90 candle scents available, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Some of the available candle scents include Apple Jack and Peel, Banana Nut Bread, Cucumber Melon, Fresh Peach, German Chocolate Cake, Indian Summer and Maple Syrup. And don’t forget Wild’s Creek motto, "Made one at a time with you in mind".

And if candles are not your thing, Wild’s Creek also offers a variety of other items including engraved personalized photos on marble, granite and a specialized tile that is for photographs only.  These are offered in various sizes from 4 x 4 up to 12 x 12’s. 

Sand carved tiles can also be purchased and you can have your favorite scripture, verse or quote on them. 

"We also offer a high quality wood sign with a variety of quotes to make your home decor unique and we offer custom toasting glasses for wedding parties," said Stone.

"All of our unique items can have your personal touch added to them.  These make great gifts for weddings, anniversaries or birthdays," said Stone.

Stone said that they always tell their customers that "Your imagination is our only limitation".

"Of course we offer assistance to those who just can’t find the right things to say. Also if you are looking for a unique one of a kind gift for a special occasion ...we can make it," said Stone.
