Lady Eagles Take Second At Eagle Relays, Boys Place third

The Canton Lady Eagles captured second place as a team at the Eagles Relays held on Saturday in Canton, while the boys placed third.

The Lady Eagles scored 14 top-three finishes, including five first, six second and four third’s. Kika Prox led the way by winning both the shot put and discus. All three relay team placed in the top three, including a first-place finish by the 1600-meter relay team.

Devin Faber and Evan Fike won the lone gold medals for the boys. Faber won the pole vault with a height of 14’6". Fike and Cody Brown took first and second in the 3200 meters with times of 10:21, and 10:22.28 respectively.
