Girls’ Golf Wins Regional Tournament
The Canton Ladies golf team won the regional championship, and will advance to the state tournament. The ladies shot a first round 406, and trimed that to 400 in round two. The team led by 18 strokes the first day, and finished 28 strokes ahead of second place Sanger.
The boys came into the regional tournament in 6th place, but dropped to 8th after round one. The boys came back to drop 26 strokes on day two, and placed fifth in the region.
